1. The danmei has a unique blend of interstellar/sci-fi elements and game mechanics incorporated into an unlimited flow-like (?) universe.2. The background of the leads is very interesting. There is “a bit” of mystery surrounding Xu Wanzhi's character, and the relationship of the two goes much deeper than what is thought to be prior to the revelations3.The MC, Lin Jing, is realistically portrayed and even reflects about his mistakes and admittedly needs guidance from ML. He's nice, but not to the point of being a doormat.4. The banter between the two leads. If you like stories where both leads clearly love each other and express it without all those cold and withdrawn ML and emotionally constipated or gay in denial leads, or a head over heels ML without any other personality (uh the sypnosis might say otherwise but pls trust me on this one) then I'd suggest you read it! Both leads engage in playful banters and the confession is very sweet, I would not want to spoil you and I suggest you read it all through without skimming a bit since their background just makes the confession scene sm sweeter.Anyway, if you like “it's always been you,” type of romances especially childhood friends to lovers, then read this! The romance aspect is what really got me hooked so it's what I'm mostly talking about, but the plot is also good. LMAO
